On the Bright Side
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!
Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid again! I spent the entire week pretty sick and exhausted. Over the weekend I thought I was coming down with allergies or getting tonsillitis again (I get this frequently, like 5 times a year at least)… I took Covid tests before my weekend sessions to be safe and tested negative multiple times. Monday night my husband said I better take just one more because he was feeling a little suspicious all of a sudden and surprise….covid positive.
I was super bummed out because keeping others healthy is always at the top of my priority list and I was really worried that I could have exposed others during the time that I was still testing negative! Outside of feeling completely terrible, this has actually been a pretty nice week. I haven’t been taking much family time lately with just opening the new studio and we’ve all been quarantined this week. It’s been really nice to see my kids all week and REALLY nice to see my husband. Chris and I work opposite work schedules so we don’t get to spend a whole lot of time together these days. Even though I haven’t been feeling well…I’m so very grateful that I’ve been able to spend the time with my family this week.
Sometimes I don’t take time to rest or take a break and then my body forces me to do so anyways by getting me sick! I’m going to try to slow down a bit with my editing turnaround to take some time to rest after long weekends of sessions. My body can’t handle as much the older I get and with having an autoimmune disease, I get sick way more often than I would like to!
Having said all of this, I CAN’T wait to get back into the studio! I miss all of you beautiful people and I miss my space. I’m very blessed to be feeling a bit better and I’m hoping that I am on the mend as my quarantine is up on Sunday!
Thank you so much to everyone for being understanding that my editing hasn’t been sent out quite as quickly since I’ve been feeling unwell! <3 I appreciate you all!
